Solution 1: Checking if there are any special characters in the company filename
There must be no special characters or commas in:
File name (QuickBooks Desktop 2017)
Company Name (QuickBooks Desktop 2017)
Solution 2: Download the update again
To overview the increase in release number, repeat these steps a few times.
Go to Help.
Choose Update QuickBooks Desktop.
Tap Update Now.
Click Get Updates.
Close QB.

Solution 3: Reduce the company file size
Be in the QuickBooks Company file.

If the file size is > 200,000 KB (200 MB), the file transfer service might throw the error.

file.
Don’t use the Accountant File Transfer Service to manually save and send the QBX/QBY.

Solution 4: Checking if the notes have a long dash
You should write text directly in the notes to the client without long dashes.
Create the text in a Text Editor.
Copy and paste from the Editor.
You should now email the MS Word document to your client with your changes file (QBY).
Using a long dash in MS Word is not allowed.
You can use a single dash.
