Synopsis:
Students are expected to integrate knowledge acquired from the two Graduate Diplomas to identify and
solve a problem in the chosen field(s). Project supervisor(s) will be assigned to the student to help
develop greater research skills and facilitate the research endeavour. This applied research project
enables students to link research, theory and practice, as well as to provide the opportunity to contribute
new knowledge and skills in the chosen field(s).
Topics:
● The topics are to be aligned to the topic of the applied project, as advised by a supervisor.
Learning Outcome:
● Prepare a research proposal.
● Analyse and discuss research results.
● Conclude implications of findings.
● Plan and execute data collection during field research.
● Organise and analyse data, and interpret the results.
● Construct a detailed and comprehensive report.
