Develop a control surface of aircraft and make the control surface statically
balanced.
Results that are expected at the end of this project:
● The students must be able to outline the process of development.
● Examine the balancing of the developed control surface with respect to the approved
procedure and techniques.
● Demonstrate the end result of the balanced surface with proper justification from
reference Documents.
● Students should be able to explain the different types of techniques used to balance the
surface
Required Materials for the project:
● Cessna SRM, Service manual, and AMM of 145 organizations in the light of
EASA/PCAA Regulations.
