SUMMARY
The 400-550 HPHT v. 2010 reference No.HP40SP402, was exposed to 5 tests from the standard ISO
14310:2008/V0 with a maximum differential pressure of 10 000 psi (690 bar) and temperature ranges
90°C-177°C in a 5½” 26ppf casing. The results showed that:
•
The recorded leakage for all tests was 0 cm³
•
The 400-550 HPHT plug was pulled without difficulties.
•
All components were found to be conforming after retrieving the unit from the test cell.
•
The results of this test (summarised in the following table) meet the requirements for the
standard design validation grade V0 described in the standard ISO 14310:2008

1. INTRODUCTION
This test report complies with the parameters established in the corresponding Standard Test
Procedure, in order to perform the Design Validation Grade V0 for the High Pressure High Temperature
Bridge Plug (HPHT) 400-550 (in accordance with ISO 14310:2008). The Special validation grade V0 is
aimed at testing packers or bridge plugs where axial loads that are required to retain integrity with
absolute zero gas leakages.
The 400-550 HPHT has been design to meet the required differential pressure, up to 10 000 psi (690 bar)
at temperatures of 177°C (max) and 90°C (min), in a 5½” 26 ppf casing.
Testing for the 400-550 HP was conducted at BTU’s premises in Trondheim, during week 49 of 2010.
