The course aims to teach the approach entrepreneurs use in identifying opportunity and creating new
ventures; the analytic skills that are needed to practice this approach; and the background knowledge
and managerial skills that are necessary for dealing with the recurring issues involved in starting,
growing, and harnessing the value of new ventures.
The BSBA program aims to:
Assume supervisory and/ or managerial responsibilities within their organization.
Pursue graduates studies in business and management.
Manage a business.
With a focus on Entrepreneurial Management, this prepares them to effectively lead and innovate within
organizations, drive growth, and adapt to dynamic business environments, making them highly capable of
creating and managing successful ventures or enhancing HR functions within existing businesses.
Learning Outcomes: At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
Knowledge:
Develop knowledge and understanding of key entrepreneurial theories, concepts, and practices
Develop knowledge on business models, strategies, and opportunities for startup ventures.
Understanding of Business Planning Frameworks; knowledge of the key components of a business plan, including market analysis, financial
projections, marketing strategies, and organizational structure.
Skills
Ability to identify and assess business opportunities and risks.
Proficiency in strategic planning and decision-making for new ventures.
Effective communication and negotiation skills for business development.
