A COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE ON EVERY THING YOU NEED TO GET STARTED ON THE SURVEY & FOCUS STUDIES HUSTLE AS A NEWBIE (Written by @JAY4SURVEYS) >You can follow me on Twitter by simply searching for @JAY4SURVEYS WHAT IS A SURVEY? A survey gathers information by asking questions to a group, aiming to understand broader trends. It's valuable for businesses, media, government, and researchers for data and insights on their products or services. Surveys demand time, which is valuable. In countries like Nigeria, researchers often don't compensate respondents, offering only gratitude. In contrast, countries like the USA, Canada, and the UK typically value participants' time more. S Y E V Countries like the USA, Canada, and the UK compensate participants for survey responses, but their surveys are limited to local demographics. If a researcher in the USA receives responses from Nigeria, they would likely cancel the survey. This highlights the importance of using IP/VPN to ensure targeted participation. R SU 4 Y TYPES OF SURVEY: A J @ 1. Online Surveys: Use a VPN before accessing links. This is the primary type I’ll share in https://t.me/Surveyofficial 2. Telephone Surveys: Require a foreign phone number. Avoid using Kenyan, Ghanaian, or Nigerian numbers, as it will invalidate the survey. You can obtain a USA number through services like Google Voice or Talkatone, and some group members sell foreign numbers. 3. Face-to-Face Surveys: I won’t be posting these, so just ignore any that require physical presence unless you can travel to the location easily. UNDERSTANDING FOCUS GROUPS AND ONE-ON-ONE INTERVIEWS, HIGHLIGHTING THEIR DIFFERENCES. Focus groups are typically group discussions conducted via Zoom, where a host leads the conversation. Participants may be asked questions or required to have their video on, but these details are usually communicated in advance. Generally, focus groups aim to engage participants in a discussion about a specific topic, and your main role is to be present. One-on-one interviews differ from focus groups and are not recommended for beginners due to their demand for confidence and fluency. If you qualify, consider hiring a professional to conduct it. The key distinction is that one-on-one involves direct questioning with just you and the host, while focus groups allow for shared participation, reducing individual pressure. I encourage everyone to participate in focus studies and interviews. If you qualify, we have professionals available to assist you. IMPORTANT: Never share your email password with anyone offering help. Just provide your email address and registration details. Requests for your password are suspicious. S Y E V Find experts for interviews and focus groups here: https://t.me/focusgroupofficial. Be honest and pay them their agreed percentage upon receiving payment. STEPS AFTER A LINK IS POSTED: R SU 4 Y 1. Activate your VPN/IP to the survey location (typically the USA; I’ll inform you if it’s from another country). A J @ 2. Always enable your VPN/IP before clicking the survey link. 3. Consider using a paid VPN like Mysterium or Proton (I use Proton and have slots available at the beginning of each month). USING A VPN/PROXY IS VERY IMPORTANT IN THE SURVEY HUSTLE. Hence try to invest in it. Always turn on VPN to the required location before clicking on any link. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING PROTON VPN IF YOU ARE A NEWBIE. For a higher chance of getting paid through surveys, Ensure your proton VPN is the paid version (Usually I t.me/jay4surveys have slots available at the start of each month) For those who find it hard to connect to a server on proton VPN, you can check for guide on platforms like YouTube. Another VPN you can go for is mysterium, surfshark, cyberghost etc but some of them may be quite pricey for a starter(Proton to me, is the cheapest and easiest option for a starter). If you prefer to use a proxy, you can check out https://dichvusocks.net/, https://Dataimpulse.com, https://tisocks.net (Again, i recommend sticking to VPN if you are a starter, as proxy can be quite complicated) USING AI CHATBOT FOR SURVEYS AND THE IMPORTANCE I highly recommend that you utilize a reliable AI chatbot like https://chatgpt.com for your online surveys. The advent of artificial intelligence has significantly streamlined the process of conducting surveys, making it more efficient and user-friendly. However, it is crucial to approach this technology with a degree of caution. S Y E V R SU One of the key advantages of using an AI chatbot is its ability to provide you with accurate and up-to-date zip codes for any given location relevant to your survey. This feature can greatly enhance the precision of your data collection. 4 Y Additionally, the chatbot can assist you in formulating responses to both open-ended and closed-ended questions that may arise during your survey. However, I strongly advise that you take the time to rephrase these generated answers. This is important because researchers have developed methods to identify responses that are produced by AI, and using them verbatim could compromise the integrity of your survey results. A J @ In summary, while AI chatbots can be a valuable tool in your survey process, it's essential to use them thoughtfully and ensure that your final responses reflect your unique voice and perspective. TACTICAL QUESTIONS YOU MAY ENCOUNTER Question 1: If you are asked, “Do you or any member of your household work in any of the following fields?” kindly select “None of the Above.” The options will typically include Advertising, Marketing, and Media. If “None of the Above” is not available, choose either Education or Insurance. The rationale behind this is that selecting these fields may lead them to believe you intend to cast or publish the research. Choosing any other options could result in disqualification from the survey. Question 2: If you are asked, “Which items did you purchase within the last 6 to 12 months?” please select all applicable items from the list provided. If you choose “None of the Above” or select four to five items without clarity, you may be disqualified, as it may indicate a lack of knowledge about their target purchases. Question 3: Take your time when answering the survey questions. There may be instances where you are required to select a specific answer, such as “Strongly Agree” or “Color Blue.” If you choose any other options, it could lead to disqualification. Question 4: Be strategic in your responses! For example, if you are asked, “Do you smoke?” it is advisable to answer “Yes,” as they are looking for participants who smoke. S Y E V Alternatively, if you are asked, “Do you suffer from any of the following diseases?” select only a few options. This approach is important because subsequent questions may be based on those selected conditions. R SU 4 Y FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS SUGGESTED RESPONSES A J @ 1.
