The module is designed for the beginners of the Informatica. Module Objectives After completing this module, the student will be able to: • Describe Extraction, Tranformation, and Loading (ETL) and Informatica • Configure Informatica Repository Server • Configure Informatica Server • Create users • Create folders • Explain various transformation objects • Create mappings • Work with different transformations • Use workflow manager to create sessions and tasks • Use monitor for running workflows and sessions • Create reusable objects • Describe Performance Tuning Methodology The module spans over three days with specific tasks and activities listed out for each day. A learner-centric methodology is employed that helps you to gain the required knowledge and expertise by performing the tasks within the stipulated timeframe. Each day of the module constitutes of a set of tasks that you need to complete by end of that day. The tasks can be broadly divided into the following components: • Attending Expert Faculty lectures: The lectures are delivered by designated Faculties. The lectures provide the topic-wise delivery of individualized, comprehensive learning content with examples. The lectures are typically of 2-3 hours duration.
