Opening Sentence
The Ironbridge Gorge is an area in Shopshire in England. It lies along a steep valley or gorge where
the River Severn flows. The Industrial Revolution began in 1870 and a cast iron bridge opened up in
1871. In the 1960s, most industries had gone. And later, the Ironbridge gorge has museums, which
attract tourists to come and see, as well as the Ironbridge.
Arguments agreeing with this statement
I neither agree or disagree with the statement which says ‘Tourists only come to see the Ironbridge’.
There are few reasons for it. They want to see a very historical site of England, they can take pictures
and memorials of the beautiful scenery, or they want to learn more about the Industrial Revolution.
Arguments disagreeing with this statement
They might want to visit other places than the Ironbridge. They want to see artifacts and iron bars by
the Revolution, or they might want to see the events in lots of detail.
Your Opinion and conclusion
In my opinion, I choose that I disagree with the statement. It’s always best if you visit all of the places
to know as much as you can, it’s always best to visit all of the places.
