Therefore, instead of written examinations, students
undertake simulations of real-life professional work and

Evidence is collected and accessed continually, and can
be written and video based, which makes it ideal for
students who benefit from coursework rather than
examined assessment. BTEC have been around for 45
years and are a very good way for students to get in to
university – over 100,000 UK students entered university last
year with BTEC.

The final year of Junior High sees students begin their
Cambridge IGCSE courses. Students can choose from a
wide range of subjects, including languages, science and
humanities. They can also choose vocational BTEC
courses in Business and Creative Media Production, which
give them hands-on experience of real-life work projects.
