Motivation Letter – Transilvania University of Brașov Scholarship Application
Bachelor in Tourism
Dear Scholarship Committee,
My name is Haidar Ramez Deeb , a recent high school graduate with a GPA of 80.9%. I’m
writing to you not just to apply for this scholarship—but to share with you a dream I’ve carried
for years. I come from a place where opportunities in tourism are growing, but the professional
expertise is still lacking. I want to change that.
Tourism, to me, is more than just travel—it’s connection. It’s the stories behind every culture,
the smiles of people meeting for the first time, the preservation of heritage, and the sustainable
development of communities. I’ve always been fascinated by how a well-managed tourism
sector can uplift an entire country, create jobs, protect history, and bridge worlds.
Despite challenges, I remained committed to my education and graduated with pride. I may not
have the highest GPA, but what I lack in numbers, I make up for in passion, purpose, and the
willingness to work harder than anyone else. I’ve taught myself English, attended cultural events,
watched documentaries about world tourism strategies, and volunteered in local events just to
stay close to this field.
I chose Transilvania University because it combines practical learning with innovation. I’m
looking for more than a degree—I’m looking for a space to grow, to learn from world-class
professors, and to be surrounded by ambitious students who dream big like I do.
This scholarship means more than financial help—it’s a belief in my potential. And I promise, if
I’m given this chance, I’ll give back not only to your university, but to every community I work
with in the future. I want to become a tourism professional who leaves a real impact—one who
builds bridges, not just itineraries.
Thank you for considering me. I’m ready to prove that passion, when given the right opportunity,
can change everything.
Sincerely,
Haidar Ramez Deeb
