Trees: The Green Guardians of Earth
Trees are among the most important living beings on Earth. They are called the “green
guardians” because they protect and support life in many ways. Trees give us oxygen to
breathe, provide shade on hot days, and offer shelter to countless animals. Without
trees, life on Earth would be very difficult.
Trees also help to clean the air by absorbing carbon dioxide, a harmful gas, and
releasing fresh oxygen. Their roots hold the soil firmly, preventing soil erosion and
floods. Forests, made up of many trees, are homes to birds, insects, and many wild
animals. Trees also provide fruits, wood, medicines, and other useful products that we
use in daily life.
Planting and protecting trees is very important for our future. They help fight climate
change by keeping the environment cool and healthy. If we all plant more trees and take
care of the ones we have, we can make the Earth a better place for ourselves and for
generations to come. Trees truly are nature’s gift to us!
