I’m in a group with about twenty students. They’re all from different towns and cities across Ukraine, like Kyiv, Rivne, and Vinnytsia. I’m so glad to hear that you’re interested in learning more about Ukraine. Ukraine is a beautiful country in Eastern Europe. It is bordered by Russia to the east and northeast, Belarus to the north, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary to the west, and Romania and Moldova to the southwest. The country covers an area of approximately 603,500 square kilometers, making it the largest country in Europe. The population of Ukraine is about 41 million people. The capital of Ukraine is Kyiv, a vibrant city that is not only the political and cultural center of the country but also one of the oldest cities in Eastern Europe. Ukraine has many beautiful rivers, including the Dnipro, the longest river in the country, which flows through Kyiv. We also have the Dniester and the Donets rivers.
