Flanges FLANGE PRESSURE / TEMPERATURE RATINGS • As per ASME/ANSI B16.5, these are combinations of pressure and temperature design conditions, combined with flanges materials. • Rating is the maximum allowable working pressure, expressed in gauge pressure at the temperature shown on the applicable material. Fa • Rating temperature is the temperature shown for a corresponding pressure. • There are seven (7) classes of pressure/temperature rating in ASME/ANSI B16.5.
