What is Sweat Allergy?
Also known as Cholinergic Urticaria.
A condition where the body reacts to its own sweat.
Common Symptoms
Small, itchy red bumps or hives
Burning or prickling sensation
Localized or widespread rash
Symptoms usually last 30 minutes to 1 hour
May appear on the face, neck, upper chest, arms
Triggering Factors
Physical exertion (exercise)
Hot weather or overheating
Emotional stress
Spicy or hot food
Hot showers or baths
Lifestyle
Management
Exercise in cooler environments
Avoid tight clothing during heat
Use fans or cold packs post-activity
Reduce stress through yoga or meditation
