PRE-TRAINING PHASE
What Actions Should Students Take?
Survey of potential companies for Industrial Training
placements
Complete the Google Form “APPLICATION INTERNSHIP
PLACEMENT”, print form, and submit it to the Industrial
Training Coordinator for approval.
Verify with your Academic Advisor if you have completed all
previous courses.
Submit your application for placement.
Submit the "OFFER LETTER" and "ACCEPTANCE FORM"
from the company to the Industrial Training Unit.

PRE-TRAINING PHASE
Guideline for Rejecting an Industrial Training Offer
Ensure you have officially received and accepted the better
offer before rejecting the current one.
Inform the organization as soon as possible once you’ve made
your decision.
Avoid delaying as it may inconvenience the company in
finding a replacement.
Politely but directly inform the company of your decision to
decline the offer.
Avoid being overly detailed about the reasons but remain
honest and professional.

Responsibilities of Students
Report to the assignedcompany on the specified date and time.
Adhere to the company's rules, regulations, and code of conduct .
Complete assignedtasksdiligently and professionally.
Always maintain a professional attitude and ethical behavior .
Keep a daily or weekly log of tasksand activities performed .
Demonstrate teamwork,
colleagues.

DURING -TRAINING PHASE
Leave Policy
Students are expected to adhere to the working hours and leave
policies of the company .
Students are not allowed to apply for leave unless it is allocated by
the company .
Medical leave must be supported by a valid medical certificate
and submitted to both the company and SBE supervisor/coordinator.
Emergency leave must be reported as soon as possible to both the
company and SBE supervisor/coordinator, along with appropriate
justification.
Excessive absences without valid reasons
may affect the
student’s internship evaluation and completion status.
DURING -TRAINING PHASE
Withdrawal or Termination
If a student needs to withdraw from the LI due to valid reasons
such as medical emergencies, family crises, or other
unavoidable circumstances, they must submit a formal
request to the LI coordinator
with supporting
documentation (must fulfill min. requirement 16 weeks).
Any withdrawal must be discussed with the LI Coordinator
and approved before discontinuing the LI.
Students who withdraw without valid reasons
or fail to
follow proper procedures may face academic penalties ,
including the need to repeat the LI .
DURING -TRAINING PHASE
Withdrawal or Termination
If a student faces termination due to performance issues,
misconduct, or violation of company policies, the company
must formally notify the LI coordinator.
In cases of termination, the student must contact the LI
coordinator
to discuss the situation and potential
corrective actions.
Depending on the circumstances, the coordinator may allow
a re-placement at another organization to fulfill internship
requirements.
DURING -TRAINING PHASE
Supervision
The SBE supervisor will be assigned betweenWeek 4 to
Week 6 of the LI period.
If the SBE supervisor holds a meeting or asks the student
and industry supervisor to provide any feedback, the student
must provide the feedback and ask the industry supervisor
to also provide feedback.
Address any challenges faced during the internship with the
supervisor or LI coordinator.
