Topic: creating a cube and cuboid using recycled materials
What is Volume?
Every three-dimensional object occupies some space. This space is measured
in terms of its volume. Volume is defined as the space occupied
within the boundaries of an object in three-dimensional space. It is also known
as the capacity of the object.
Formula Of Volume of Cube and Cuboid
• Volume of cube= side length×side length×side length
Or
Side length×3
• Volume of cuboid=L × B × H
What is Surface Area?
The surface area of a solid object is a measure of the total area that the
surface of the object occupies.
Surface Area of Cube and Cuboid
• Surface Area of Cube= area of one face × 6
• Surface Area of Cuboid=2lw + 2lh +2hw
Or
2(lw+ lh+ wh)
