Translation:
Word-for-word translation: involves translating each word in the SL one by
one to its equivalent meaning in the TL, keeping the original grammar and
word order.
For example:

Literal translation:
It is close to word-for-word translation, but has more flexibility with TL
grammar, words are translated individually, but the grammatical structure and
word order change to their nearest TL equivalent.
