Once the pipes arrived to the site, a visual inspection shall be held, this includes a dimensional
inspection (Diameter, length and thickness measurement), as well as a visual inspection (pipes
shall be free from any damage in the body deeper than 3mm, while damages in both
extremities are disallowed).

GRE Pipes storage in site
Pipes shall be stored in flat; stones free land. It shall also be placed over flat wooden
supports spaced no more than 3 metres apart.
It is strictly forbidden to interlock pipes during transport or storage on site.

Materials identification
I was able to identify:

locking strips;
seal rings;
wooden hammers;
Come Alongs;
Woven pads;
Saddles;
A vegan base grease.

At the end of each joining operation the sandbags are removed and placed in the next joint

In this day I’ve seen the following:

Block valves for GRE
Arrival site PK66 including valve HEV 24V
Works in site in Ohanet including Insulation joint. Mov valve, pig launcher 24*28 ..etc
Injection point of Stah see if ther is any drawing of it ;any way the injection will be fro,
the above point of OH1 equipped with valves, flange..etc
Interconnexion between OT1 OH1 and Stah DP

Today I have seen the following

Traction phenomena explained: the width of the locking strip is smaller than the
groove, so a void will be remained, to fill that void, the pipe should be pulled so the
locking strip move forward and do the job, in case we don’t do that, the accumulated
space will increase to certain point the pipe will displaced
The two sides of locking strip are different, one has a cubic shape while the other has
arrow shape
The deflection is checked by a topographer, each pipe has a tolerance of 1 degree,
however by applying Pythagorean theorem we could determine perpendicular which
in our case shall not exceed 30 cm.
