By the end of this lesson, pupils will be able
to :
Pronounce and explain the words from
the cards given.
Answer the questions verbally by using
one of the language expressions given
and also include at least two or three
words from the vocabulary list
correctly.
Listen and guess the words explain by
their other partners.
Medium of Instruction
1. Teacher shows 6 pictures.
2. Teacher asks the pupils to guess the
name of the sports.
3. Teacher asks the pupils to find the
similarities between the 6 pictures
Example:
(3 indoor sports/games)
(3 outdoor sports/games)
Activity 1
1. Pupils work in pairs.
2. 1 pupil has the Set A card and the other
has Set B card.
3. Pupil A describe the word on the card
to their partner. Pupil B need to listen
carefully to their partner’s answers.
4. Another pupils try to guess the words
based on the descriptions given by their
friend.
Activity 2
1. Pupils sit in a group of 4.
2. Teacher will distribute two pictures of
indoor and outdoor sports for each
group.
3. Then, teacher will distribute a set of 4
questions for each group. Each
questions was folded so that the pupils
cannot see the questions.
4. Pupils will pick a question randomly
and take turn to answer the question.
5. In their answer, they need to use at
least two or three words that they guess
on the previous activity.
6. Teacher will give extra times to the less
proficient pupils, so that they have
much longer times to think and answer
for the answers.
7. Teacher will monitor from a group to
another groups if they need assistance.
