I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, 85% of the students should be able to:
a. Define and understand what draping is,
b. Identify the different draping methods in massage,
c. Recognize and value the importance of knowing and executing the different draping methods
properly for the clients, and
d. Perform the application for proper draping in massage.

2. Drill: SWIPE LEFT OR SWIPE RIGHT students will be presented with various statements. Their task will
be to carefully analyze each statement and determine whether it is a factual statement or a misleading bluff.
3. Definition of terms. Supine, Prone, Posterior, Anterior
4. Motivation: IS SOMEBODY GONNA MATCH MY PIC? A fast-paced activity involves students matching a
variety of pictures to their corresponding names.

1. How can draping affect the comfort of the client while doing the massage?
2. How you would handle a situation where a client expresses discomfort with the draping method?
3. How can poor draping techniques impact the client-therapist relationship?
B. Presentation of the Lesson:

Instructions: Carefully examine each picture and match it with the appropriate name. After you have
made your matches, provide a brief explanation of the methods associated with each picture to
enhance understanding.
