Most of the time, it is a fix object like building, landmark, plant, or other stationary objects. The position of an object can be determined by locating its position relative to a reference point or object. It is important to use it in describing the position of another object. C.a. Geronimo Files What is It There are four major directions, the north, south, east and west and compass is the standard instrument used to determine directions. But if you have no compass, you can use yourself as to know the direction and position of other objects. For example, if you are standing facing the direction where the sun rises, it means you are facing towards east. So, at your back is the west, on your left is the north, and on your right is the south. C.a. Geronimo Files You can use this knowledge to determine the position or movement of objects. Distance is also involved in determining position of an object. Simple way of describing it is how far or near the object is to the reference point.A C.a.
