Tiger and Monkey
In the forest, there lived a tiger. He did not have friends. His neighbour, the monkey,
did not want the tiger to be sad and alone. He tried to talk with the tiger, but he always
opened his mouth and let out a loud, angry cry. The monkey also did his best to make
him laugh, but the tiger looked at him with big, wide eyes.
One day, the tiger fell sick and only slept in his cave. Knowing this, the monkey
went to put some food and clean water from a nearby river next to him. He made a fire
to make the tiger feel warm as he waited for the tiger to wake up.
When the tiger woke up, the monkey told him the reason he came. The tiger smiled.
He saw that the monkey was being kind. He asked the monkey to stay with him for the
night. Since then, they became the best of friends. The tiger grew pleasant, and the
forest animals felt free from danger when he was around. The tiger learned the true
meaning of being kind from the animals of the forest.
