Resource
Management
is the process of planning, organizing, and controlling the use

NSTP Overview
The National Service Training Program (NSTP), mandated by
Republic Act No. 9163, aims to enhance civic consciousness
and defense preparedness. It offers three components: ROTC
(military training), LTS (teaching literacy), and CWTS
(community service). The program, completed over two
semesters, encourages students to contribute to national and
community development.
Community-Based
Management
a participatory approach to resource management and
development that empowers the local communities to take
control of and responsibility for the resources upon which they
depend. It shifts the focus from top-down centralized, and
collaborative decision-making.

Economic development in Community-Based Management (CBM)
focuses on improving the economic well-being of a community
through locally-driven initiatives. It involves empowering residents

enhance living standards. This includes supporting local
businesses, fostering entrepreneurship, and promoting skills
development, all aimed at achieving long-term, inclusive growth
that benefits the entire community.
