people."
Athens was the largest polis that
practiced democracy. Famous leaders like
Pericles advocated for governance by all
citizens.

Equality: Everyone should be treated the
same, no matter who they are. Everyone's
opinion matters.
Freedom: We can say what we think and do
what we like as long as it doesn't hurt others.
We can also believe in any religion we want.
Fair Voting: When we pick leaders, everyone

and fair to stay in charge.

Orientative: Provides a sense of identity and orientation.

political action.

focuses on equality and equal power.
People's Democracy: Involves rule by

majority's benefit.
