Why I chose distortion I choose
I choose distortion I wanted to experience for a moment what my creativity can create the ideas the
will be relevant to arts. I waned to see the creativity to unfold. I struggles to produce such painting to
see if my paintings can meet professional artists eye. The composition is strange but and looks realistic
but I like it. I wanted more distorted and expressive painting.
paul klee art work theme is distortion. All of his art work talks about distortion in human emotion. And
other apects of life. Paul klee good composition matches the vibrant looking colour schemes that he has
developed on own. His art work is different from other artists. (Most of the artists that mimic realism or
semi realism their new colour wheel and colours are great.) paul klee cannot be related/similar to
nature.but it closely represents the subject in his distortion paintings. He adds is own colours that look
saturated and pigmented to his subject and uses red and blues to his paints which gives it a different
look that doesnot look flat but the vibrant colors seems to becoming out of his subjects which is
unnecssary but it is an important role in his compositional drawing. He uses unusual shapes for
drawing faces or whatever he has picked to be his subject. I found it hard to match my drawings to his
symmetry in shapes and whatever shapes he makes when sketching the figures in the drawing.
Angela treat Lyon made her paintings with weird composition for faces on a large canvass. Her style is
her own that is something I appreciate about her. Her paintings have broad strikes of white in the
painting that I have painted. Her strokes re not very specific or detailed like picasso or sketchy like paul
klee. The visbility of her energy in her brush strokes and the bigness(one aspect of her painting) of her
painting is something not many artist strive for.
Picasso didn't like the idea of beautifying his art work or displaying his art work his expression of art is
very subtle as it converts deeper emotions and conveys hints of emotions for the viewers which is
based on reality. Oftentimes his artwork is too childish and difficult to understand but it is typical for
his age and choice of artwork.
Picasso later hen his 40s he was started asking reality topic and mentioned actually depicted topics
that are hardcore reality . He displayed sociatel conditions in the background which decodes conveys
his variegated opinions on women in all his art work almost like a journey.
