SCIENCE FICTION- The term was coined by Hugo Gernsback, a
publisher and editor of pulp magazines, who wanted to promote
stories that combined scientific facts and prophetic visions.
-it is a genre of speculative fiction dealing with imaginative
concepts such as futuristic science and technology,space
travel,time travel,faster than light travel,parallel universe and
extraterrestrial life.
-Science fiction also encompasses other media, such as comics,
games, TV shows, and podcasts, that offer diverse and creative
ways of storytelling and worldbuilding.
-Science fiction is not only a source of entertainment, but also a
way of exploring ethical, social, and philosophical issues, as
well as imagining possible futures and alternative realities.
-Science fiction movies have been popular since the early days
of cinema, with films like Metropolis, 2001: A Space Odyssey,
and Star Wars, to recent hits like Inception, Arrival, and The
Matrix.
-Often explores the potential consequences of scientific and
other innovations aand has been called a “literature of ideas”
other examples are: The hunger games and Stars are legion.

H.G.Wells,Frankenstein,or, The Modern Prometheus by Mary
Woolsstonecraft Shelley,Nineteen Eighty-Four by George
Orwell,Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury,Brave New World by

HYPER POETRY-A hyper poem, also known as a hypertext poem, is a
form of digital poetry that utilizes multimedia elements and hypertext
link structures to create a nonlinear and interactive reading
experience for the audience. Unlike traditional poems that follow a
linear structure, hyper poems often allow readers to navigate
through different paths and explore various layers of meaning. They
can contain hyperlinks, images, videos, audio, and interactive
elements that enhance the overall experience.
-it can either involves set words,phrases,lines,etc. that are presented
in variable order but sit on the page much as traditional poetry
does,or it can contain parts of the poem that move and transform.
-it is usually found online,but CD-ROM and diskette version exist.The
earliest examples date to no later than the mid-1980’s
