Title of research:
A Study on Students at Some Universities in Hanoi: The Impact of
Social Media Marketing on Student Purchasing Decisions
3. Research Questions
The study will address the following research questions:
1. Which social media platforms are most frequently used by university students in
Hanoi?
2. How does social media marketing influence students' purchasing decisions?
3. What types of social media content are most effective in driving student
purchases?
4. How do peer recommendations and online reviews impact students' buying
behavior?
4. Scope of Research
This research will focus on:
- 200 students from selected universities in Hanoi, Vietnam which are related to
economics field: National Economics University, Foreign Trade University, VNU
University of Economics and Business, Banking Academy, and Thuong Mai
University.
- The study will primarily investigate the impact of social media marketing on
purchasing decisions related to products and services commonly consumed by
students, such as fashion, food, technology, and entertainment. The research will not
cover other forms of digital marketing (e.g., email marketing or search engine
advertising) unless they are integrated with social media campaigns.
