Activity 3: Create an event from Gmail and view it in Calendar
Now it’s your turn to practice integrating Gmail and Calendar by creating an event from a
Gmail message.
Complete the following steps:
1. Open a message and select the More action.
2. Select Create event from the menu. A new event details window opens in a new
browser tab. Note how the event subject, description, and guests autopopulate from
the message.
3. Choose a date and time for the event.
4. Email senders and recipients are added as guests. Point to each name in turn and click
Remove so only your name remains in the guest list.
5. Select Save.
6. Confirm the event has been added to Google Calendar.
7. Close the Google Calendar tab.
