Princess Diana: Tragedy or Treachery? Unraveling the Conspiracy Behind Her Death
Princess Diana, the Princess of Wales is deemed to have died as the result of a car
accident in 1997. But was it really an accident, or was it the royalty’s command?

Despite the fairy-tale image, Diana and Charles’ marriage was troubled from the
beginning, as Charles was in love with Camilla Parker Bowles. The marriage was
insurmountable as Diana mentioned, “There were three of us in this marriage, so it
was a bit crowded.”
Following this, Queen Elizabeth II advised them to divorce. After the divorce, Diana
began dating Dodi Fayed, the son of Egyptian billionaire Mohamed Al-Fayed.
After a dinner in Paris, at around 11.30, Diana and Al-Fayed, left the hotel they were
staying, using a rear entrance, with French driver Henri Paulat
Driving a Mercedes limousine, Paul took Diana and Al-Fayed on a high-speed trip
through the boulevards and narrow streets of central Paris. Investigators later estimated
that the car may have been traveling at more than 60 miles per hour.
At 12:19 a.m., the Mercedes crashed into a pillar, which traverses the River Seine. Diana
was taken to the hospital, but several hours later, at 4 a.m., she died as a result of injuries
she sustained in the crash.
Operation Paget was the British Metropolitan Police inquiry established in 2004 to
investigate the conspiracy theories about her death. Each chapter of the report concluded
that all allegations made since the crash of conspiracy were without foundation and all
the evidence obtained point to the deaths of Diana and Fayed as being the result of an
accident. However,I have my doubts.
Initially, the incident had been blamed on Henri Paul, who may have been exceeding the
speed limit to avoid photographers, but the inquest found that Paul had been drunk at the
time of the accident, and that his condition may have been worsened by prescription antidepressants he was taking.
There was some media discussion in April 2006 suggesting that Diana was a faithful seat
belt user (her sister mentioned that "was religious in putting on her seat belt" ) and
therefore the fact that both her and Dodi's seat belts either failed or were not used was
sinister and might suggest sabotage."What is certain is that she was not wearing a seatbelt
and this made things worse.

However, claims circulated in news media in November 2006 that the blood samples
tested did not belong to Paul but were taken from a suicide victim. The tests compared
the samples with DNA provided by Paul's parents, and it was acknowledged that there
were some issues.

Is it a coincidence that all the 14 video surveillance cameras were not working that night?
According to The Independent newspaper in 2006, 14 CCTV cameras were in the
underpass, though none recorded footage of the fatal collision.
Princess Diana reportedly wrote a note in 1995, in which she expressed fears that her
then-husband, Prince Charles, wanted her dead. In it, Diana allegedly wrote that she
believed Charles was planning an accident—such as a car crash involving brake failure.
That supports the idea of her death being arranged.
Assuming that all the world would consider this conspiracy theory true, the public trust in
the monarchy would be severely damaged. There could be more investigation and
possible exile or prosecution of those responsible for her death.
Now what do you think?
