In-class Thesis Exercise
By the end of my speech, I want the audience to have a more advanced
understanding of Space Travel, and why it is the next step for the evolution and
preservation of Mankind. With our current and ever-expanding scope of
technology, as well as our increased research to understand the celestial bodies
that reside within our galaxy, it only makes sense that we push to colonize the
planets that we find to be inhabitable by humans, or those that possess
characteristics that are compatible with life. This could address the issues of
growing population concerns, the diminishing supply of natural resources, or even
the fear of rising sea levels and decrease in inhabitable land.
