I.
Objectives:
1. To design a PLC program in order to solve a given PLC problem
2. To construct the electrical ladder diagram
3. To construct and simulate the PLC ladder diagram using the Picosoft software
4. To sketch the I/O wiring diagram of the PLC with the solution to the problem
II.
Problem:
Design the electrical ladder diagram and PLC ladder diagram to control the four lamps
shown below. The four lamps will turn ON one at a time with an interval of 0.5 seconds.
Momentary push button switch 1 is used to start the sequence, while momentary push
button switch 2 stops the sequence at any time.
