As i missed the class that everyone was in when they tried this. My notes will be from the
lesson, text book and other practical applications.
First, you’ll need to turn on the sound board and other sound equipment. Some Theatre
spaces vary on where that is, but in Coger, there is a sound box stage right near the alcove
door that will need to be turned on.
Next, it is best to locate the microphone and line inputs and connect to those. After, you’ll
need to connect the main mix outputs to power amplifier or speakers, most mixers have an
XLR type connector for main outputs. Others might have ¼" tip ring sleeve balanced
connectors.
After that we need to connect to the monitors. This is usually a 1/4" connector and is
connected to the input of a power amplifier(s) or powered monitor speaker(s).
