CAUSES OF POLLEN ALLERGY
• Tree Pollen: Oak, birch, cedar (spring).
• Grass Pollen: Ryegrass, Bermuda grass
(late spring, summer).
• Weed Pollen: Ragweed, nettle, sagebrush
(late summer, fall).
• Seasonal Variation: Different plants
release pollen in different seasons.
SYMPTOMS OF POLLEN ALLERGY
• Sneezing & Nasal Congestion – Blocked or
stuffy nose.
• Runny Nose & Watery Eyes – Excess mucus and
eye irritation.
• Itchy Throat, Eyes & Ears – Persistent irritation.
• Coughing & Wheezing – Breathing discomfort.
• Fatigue – Poor sleep due to symptoms.
PREVENTIVE MEASURES
• Monitor Pollen Forecasts: Check daily pollen
levels before going outside.
• Keep Windows Closed: Prevent pollen from
entering indoors during peak seasons.
• Wash Hands & Clothes: Remove pollen after
outdoor exposure.
• Maintain Indoor Humidity: Use a humidifier or
air purifier to reduce allergens.
