Bradford License India, a joint venture between BRADFORD
LICENSING LLC (U.S.) and FRANCHISE INDIA GROUP (India),
was established in 2010 as India’s first end-to-end licensing
solution provider. With over 35 years of licensing experience
and 40+ years of franchising expertise, we manage brands
and personalities at the forefront of the cultural landscape,
using customer-centric strategies to support businesses in
achieving growth through brand licensing.

CHHOTA BHEEM
Chhota Bheem, one of India’s most popular characters from Green
Gold Animation, has captivated kids of all ages with its positive
portrayal of an ideal Indian child, full of cultural values and ethics.
Awarded ‘Licensor of the Year’ since 2012, Chhota Bheem’s licensing
program has grown significantly, strengthening its retail presence in
India. Bradford partnered with them in 2013, quickly securing major
licensing deals across categories such as school bags, footwear,
bicycles, wallpapers, toys, apparel, and FMCG (confectionery). With
promising discussions in the pipeline, Chhota Bheem’s popularity is
set to continue as a top priority for kids’ products in India.
EMOJI
Emoji® is a dynamic lifestyle brand for all ages, known for its
expressive, colorful, and accessible appeal. Launched in 2013, the
emoji company transformed the digital phenomenon into a
physical lifestyle brand with global success. Bradford extended
Emoji® in India, partnering with leading players in apparel,
including
casual,
nightwear,
lingerie,
and
loungewear.
Additionally, Bradford has appointed a major DTR partner in India,
expanding the brand into kids' apparel, accessories, FMCG, and
other categories. With over 600 global licensees, Emoji® continues
to thrive as a universal brand with year-round potential.
CARTOON NETWORK
Cartoon Network, home to iconic characters like Ben10, Roll No.
21, Powerpuff Girls, and more, has a strong global licensing
program. In India, characters like Roll No. 21 and Ben10 are
gaining popularity. Bradford License India (BLI) has extended CN
into the footwear category with a major manufacturer, followed
by kids’ lunch boxes and water bottles. BLI also introduced a
hybrid model, transforming a kids' FEC zone with CN branding
and themed areas like kids' driving and birthday zones.
Additionally, CN characters have been extended into water
guns and FMCG products with leading players in India.
POPEYE
Bradford has successfully extended Popeye the Sailor
Man into apparel, partnering with a major licensing
player and retailing through a leading women’s wear
channel. The brand’s success led the retailer to expand
Popeye's presence into their popular men’s wear
casual apparel line.
THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN
Spider-Man, a global film legacy with a total box office of $2.5
billion, has a massive fan base worldwide, including over INR
220 crores in India. In India, the brand has been successfully
extended through promotional licensing, including a themed
meal offer with a top food chain, featuring merchandise and
movie tickets. Bradford also partnered with a leading
department store, offering movie tickets with kidswear
purchases, and collaborated with a prominent candy maker in
India to launch special packaging, enhancing its appeal to
customers.
PJ MASKS
PJ Masks, a popular animated series for preschoolers,
has expanded its licensing program globally. In India,
Bradford has successfully extended the brand into the
toy category with a major distributor, launching in
Hamleys, and later appointed a leading Back to School
manufacturer to strengthen the brand's physical
presence.
MCFC
Founded in 1880 as a community club, Manchester City FC
(Mancity) has grown into one of the fastest-growing EPL clubs,
boasting a global followership of over 250 million. The brand
embodies values like performance and teamwork, resonating
strongly with millennials. Through licensing, Bradford License
India (BLI) has successfully extended the MCFC brand across
multiple product categories, including youth apparel, kids’
apparel, personal care (fragrances & sanitizers), sporting
goods, and fan merchandise with leading industry players.
These extensions have driven significant growth for the brand.
WWE
Bradford has extended WWE in India, capitalizing on its global
success. With over 500 events a year and 36 million viewers in
150 countries, WWE has been a dominant force in sports
entertainment for over 20 years in India. Bradford has
successfully introduced WWE into apparel and audio products
through key partnerships, reflecting its strong local appeal and
massive fan base.
