I am writing to express my strong interest in pursuing new opportunities and my desire to
work in a challenging environment. Currently, I am working in A top-level school in China.
In the current academic year 2023-24, our department achieved a record by receiving
interview offers for 18 students from Cambridge and one from Oxford. Additionally, I have
consistently achieved 75-80% with an A* in AS for over 6 years. I have successfully
organized Oxbridge extension classes and activities focusing on TMUA, GPA, and
Interviews, aimed at building students' confidence and skills in writing personal statements,
and reference letters, conducting mock interviews, and developing presentation skills.
With Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics, as well as a Doctorate in Education, I
actively teach Cambridge Curriculum AS Economics and A-Level Business. Additionally, I
hold the position of Head of the Economics, Business & Accounting Department. In this role,
I am responsible for a range of tasks, including preparing the department budget, conducting
lesson observations, organizing mock interviews for Oxbridge candidates, coordinating
Business and Economics Week, designing and developing the curriculum, recruiting teachers,
conducting student interviews, organizing seminars and professional development, and
providing instructional coaching.
Furthermore, I firmly believe in a student-centered approach to teaching, fostering an
inclusive and supportive classroom environment. I encourage active participation among
students and aim to empower them to think critically, apply economic theories to real-world
situations, and develop a genuine passion for the subject. Additionally, I am highly proficient
in leveraging educational technology and online teaching platforms to enhance the learning
experience.
