The Essay
Introduction
Social media’s impact on students is unhealthy. They can be addicted, influenced and even
worse: Their education will get worse. All of this because of social media. This is why social
media shouldn’t be allowed for students.
Point 1
The usage of social media nowdays used by students are extensive and that can influence
students. From YouTube to TikTok, content creators are influencing more of younger generation
people, such as primary school students to university undergraduates. For an example, if a
Primary 5 student watch a clip of some people smashing their things in a bad manner, they might
get influenced and tend to copy it and get a detention, suspension, or even an expulsion. This
might cause them to have a bad rappo.
Point 2
A student’s education can get impacted by social media. As mentioned in the point above, students
can get influenced and copy actions which can be unsettling, such as destroying items/places,
scolding, cursing, etc. which can and might get them to be worse in education. Some content creators
will say students do not need to study, they will also not encourage students to have an education
because they do not value it.
Point 3
Students may and will, at most costs, get addicted to social media. If they like a channel/s, they will
watch it. If they like a certain game or people playing games, they will watch that. And adding on with
the just before mentioned influencers, the students can play the games which the influencers play.
And also maybe influence their siblings/cousins to play that game and they’re all screwed up because
they don’t study. At all. Because of social media.
Conclusion
In a nutshell, social media is bad, bad, bad for students especially for primary students. They get
influenced and addicted to social media. So, do not show social media or even screens to students
(unless they’re responsible and have restrictions).
Types of Essays

Factual Essay
1. Essay that are written based on facts.
2. Essays that are connected to real life.
3. You can only use facts from real life
4. You cannot add your own opinions.
5. For Factual-based essays, they usually contain facts in the question.
6. You cannot put I, me, we, us in the essays, those will be opinions.

Opinion-based essays
1. They will use the word ‘opinion’.
2. In opinion-based essays, you MUST use the word in my opinion.


Format-based essay
1. There are two (2) types of formatted essay
i.
Official formatted letter writing.
1i. Marks will be provided for the format itself.
1ii. Roughly 8-10 marks will be given for the format.

Non-official formatted letter writing.
1i. Format marks will also be given.
2. NOT COMPULSORY to put example.

Free-formatted essay
1. There is NO specific format – you can write 5 paragraphs or 7 or 10, it is up to YOU.
2. You can write I, we, they, us, usually about your adventures/experiences.
3. As long as it follows proper English grammar and structure, you can do (mostly)
whatever you want.
4. NOT COMPULSORY to put example.

Monologue writing
1. List down your characters
2. Need to understand the story flow and where do they stop the story and where do we
have to continue.
3. Choose the ending by stating your opinion.
4. Determine what kind of ending you need to give.
1. They can be better at that language.
2. They can meet and communicate with people who speak that language.
3. They will have new exposure.
A relative is considering moving to another country where

Dear Dean
I am writing my opinion for you coming to Malaysia. I’d say it is a good thing for you and your
children to come here because I have some things I want to say.
Firstly, I think it is a good idea to be here because you and your kids can be better at the Malay
language. It can build more foundation for all of you as your language skills will be better.
Secondly, you all can communicate with people who just speak Malay. Your kids can communicate
with the local students and make more friends. They can be more socially active.
Lastly, they can be exposed in new cultures. They can see the beauty of the Malay culture, taste their
food and delicacies and see how the people interact with one another.
Can we meet up sooner? I am relatively near to KL and I am planning to meet up with you too. How
about next week Sunday? It can be a good time to hang out.

Describe the preparations you make for an important
journey.
Today was a beautiful day, tomorrow my family and I will be travelling to Singapore for a week! I can’t
wait to breath fresh air all over there and today I am getting ready to pack things for my journey!
Firstly, I will need to pack my clothes. I will be taking enough clothes for a week. This is to ensure I
will not be running out of clothes there. I will be taking clothes of different patterns which are my
favourite ones.
Secondly, I couldn’t be travelling without these important things. I will be taking my passport,
because we can’t go anywhere without a passport, then, maybe my charging adapter. Additionally, I’ll
be also bringing two umbrellas just in case if it rains, I can use it there. I am still thinking to bring my
sunscreen along because I heard its summer in Singapore now.
Lastly, I’ll be bringing a large bag to put my other additional things I want to bring. Those things
would be my iPad and its charger, my smart piano, portable Wi-Fi adapter, my Harry Potter books,
Bible, and my laptop. The reason I am bringing all of these things is to use it during my leisure time in
Singapore.
So, that’s all what I have planned to bring for my journey to Singapore. I am counting my time to my
departure.
One of the outdoor learning can be jogging can make you slim and make you healthier.
Another one can be mountain climbing for your hands and legs-eye/brain coordination.
Another one can be cycling for your legs to train pedalling.
The Essay.
Outdoor learning. Exercise. We all like it or hate it. It is the best, or the worst thing humanly made
possible. It can be fun, tiring, exhausting, mortal destruction or helpful. Yes, helpful. Here, we will be
describing 3 different ways to do outdoor learning which can benefit you.
Firstly, we have jogging. This may be what you do before sunrise, after work/school, in the park with
pink skies and at 10pm with the streetlights. Or, you could just use a treadmill and set the speed to a
small amount. It can make you slim and removes dirt via sweat and makes you healthy.
Next, we have steep rocky hill climbing. Or, just rock climbing at the playgrounds or the exercise park
for the kid’s area. You may or may not have done this, but it can fell excitement after getting to the
top, especially for a really tall hill/wall. It can help with your hand-leg-eye-brain coordination.
Lastly, cycling. We have all done this as a kid, to school, at the park, at the skateboard arena, for fun,
your backyard, an electronic bike, an exercise bike at home, etc. It can make your muscles stronger
and can pedal faster for things like swimming and powering a buggy.
So, that is all for outdoor learning. Doing this/these will be good to go so that you can be fit and
healthy. My opinion is that yes, it is a good way to keep fit, but also with your diet to keep on with
being healthy and slim.
