Cabunga-an, Villaba, Leyte ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT First Quarter School Portfolio and Card Day School Year: 2024 - 2025 I. Introduction The First Quarter School Portfolio and Card Day was successfully conducted last October 12, 2024 at Villaba National Comprehensive High School, School Ground. This event aimed to provide students with a platform to showcase their academic and extracurricular achievements through product performance and portfolios. It also helped in assessing their progress, enhancing their self-reflection skills, and fostering a sense of responsibility in managing personal records. II. Objectives The key objectives of the event were: 1. To encourage students to compile and present their academic and extracurricular achievements in a structured portfolio. 2. To assess students’ progress through portfolio presentations. 3. To give quarterly feedback of the grades of the students through releasing their report cards/ school form 9 4. To recognize the academic achievers for the quarter. 5. To promote self-reflection and goal - setting among students. III. Activities Conducted The event included several activities, such as: 1. Portfolio Presentation and Evaluation: Students presented their portfolios, highlighting their academic achievements, projects, and personal reflections. 2. Career and Academic Counselling: Advisors provided guidance on academic improvement. 3. Awarding of Outstanding Students: Recognition was given to students with exceptional performances within the quarter. IV. Key Achievements The event successfully achieved the following: 1. 20 parents attended in the event. Challenges Encountered Some challenges faced during the event included: 1. 20 parents only attended out of the 36 parents. VI. Recommendations for Future Events To improve future School Portfolio and recommendations are suggested: Card Days, the following 1. Allocate more time for portfolio presentations and evaluations. VII. Conclusion The School Portfolio and Card Day was a successful initiative that helped students reflect on their academic progress and manage their personal records effectively. Introduction The School Portfolio Day and Giving of Students' Report Cards was successfully conducted on December 14, 2024 at the VNCHS School Ground. This event aimed to showcase students' academic progress and achievements while strengthening the partnership between teachers and parents in fostering students' development. II. Objectives 1. To provide parents with a comprehensive view of their child's academic performance and progress. 2. To showcase students' portfolios, highlighting their achievements and growth in various subjects. 3. To facilitate meaningful discussions between teachers and parents regarding students' strengths, areas for improvement, and strategies for future success. 4. To encourage parental involvement in the learning process and school activities. III. Activities Conducted 1. Portfolio Presentation: Students presented their portfolios, which included projects, assessments, and reflections on their learning experiences. 2. Parent-Teacher Conferences: Individual meetings were conducted between teachers and parents to discuss students' academic standing and areas for development. 3. Awarding of Recognitions: Certificates and awards were given to students who demonstrated outstanding performance in academics, leadership, and extracurricular activities. Feedback Collection: Parents and students were given the opportunity to provide feedback on the event and suggest improvements for future initiatives. IV. Accomplishments and Outcomes Parent Participation: 13 parents attended the event , demonstrating strong support for their children's education. Effective Communication: Productive discussions were held, leading to better understanding and collaboration between teachers and parents. Student Motivation Boosted: Students felt proud of their achievements, which motivated them to strive for further academic excellence. Challenges Encountered 1. Some parents were unable to attend due to work commitments. 2. Limited time for in-depth discussions with each parent. 3. The need for improved organization in the portfolio presentation process. VI. Recommendations 1. Schedule multiple sessions to accommodate parents with different availabilities. 2. Allocate more time for one-on-one teacher-parent conferences. 3. Improve portfolio organization. presentation guidelines to ensure clarity and 4.
