Key Guide for Observation
a. What are the lesson objectives/learning outcomes?
1. Identify common magnetic materials ( e.g., iron, steel, nickel) and
non- magnetic materials.
2. Recognize that magnets opposite poles attract while like poles repel.
3. Identify and describe key properties of magnets, such as polarity,
strength, and the ability to attract certain objects.
b. What are included in the subject matter?

c. What procedure or method will the teacher use to implement be
done?
The teacher discuss the lesson by discussing the concept and then
teacher give examples and after that she gave an activity to the learners
to know if the learners can really understand the lesson.
d. Will the teacher assess or evaluate the lesson? How will this be done?
Yes, the teacher evaluate the lesson by using a formative assessment.
B. Implementing
a. How did the teacher begin the lesson?
She begin the lesson by having a short review using the think-pair- share
strategy then she gave the learners a self-assessment then she discuss
about the strength of magnets, and the two poles of magnets
b. What procedure or steps were followed?
The teacher introduce the lesson by activating prior knowledge and
establishing lesson purpose.
c. How did the teacher engage the learners?
The teacher engage the learners by giving them set of interactive
activities.
d. Was the teacher a guide at the side?
Yes, the teacher guide at the side but not all the time.
e. Were the learners on task?/Or were they participating in the class
activity?
Yes, because teacher provided a different activities.
f. Was the lesson finished within the class period?
No, because the Lesson Plan is Matatag curriculum and it is weekly
lesson log.
C.
Evaluating/Assessin
g
a. Were the objectives as learned outcomes achieved?
Yes, all objectives achieved by the learners.
b. How did the teacher assess/evaluate it?
The teacher assess the learner through providing an assessment.
c. What evidence was shown? Get pieces of evidence.
