The chairs and members of these committees are practitioners of economic life, scientists, local government and social activists operating in the areas relevant to the committee’s scope of responsibility. The committees have two fundamental functions – advisory to the KIG Presidium and integrating since they bring together the business community in order to solve specific problems. The committees participating in the work of parliamentary commissions also participate actively in developing of and issuing opinions on the legislation that directly affects the operation of businesses. It was established in 1950 as a unit for resolving disputes in foreign trade. Targowa Creativity Centre The Targowa Creativity Centre is an entrepreneurship incubator for the creative sector, operated by the Polish Chamber of Commerce. The Polish Chamber of Commerce has been the Operator of the Targowa Creativity Centre since December 2019 and will continue in this capacity for 10 years, under the agreement signed with the Capital City of Warsaw for the urban entrepreneurship incubator in the public-private partnership (PPP) formula. cktargowa.pl 2. The programme of the CK Targowa is related to the development of professions in the creative sector. 3. Incubation is supported not only by making office space available, but also through the organization of training, educational and cultural programmes in the conference and exhibition area. 4. There is a constant recruitment for the rental of office space for entrepreneurs from the creative sector. 5. So far, over 50 companies from the creative sector have found their place in the CK Targowa incubator. Many of them have developed into businesses successfully operating on the market.
