The oldest Court of Arbitration
in Europe
Established on 1 January 1950, it functioned
initially under the name of College of
Arbitrators at the Polish Chamber of Foreign
Trade, as an independent unit appointed to
resolve disputes arising from international
trade relations

certificates of origin for goods, legalization of
trade documents, issuing ATA Carnets as well
as other certificates

In 2009-2019, the implementation of almost 48 projects
financed by the EU as well as Norwegian and Swiss funds,
including 12 jointly with PARP. As part of these projects,
we trained 28 000 people all over Poland

KIG Committees
Substantive activities of the Polish Chamber of Commerce are
conducted in its 23 committees.
The chairs and members of these committees
are practitioners of economic life, scientists, local government
and social activists operating in the areas relevant to the
committee’s scope of responsibility.
The committees have two fundamental functions – advisory to
the KIG Presidium and integrating since they bring together the
business community in order to solve specific problems. The
committees participating in the work of parliamentary
commissions also participate actively in developing of and issuing
opinions on the legislation that directly affects the operation of
businesses.

Integration of business community in person and online
We organize foreign promotional events related to the
internationalization of Polish companies at the invitation
of foreign partners, on demand of numerous institutions
from the public sector and as visits accompanying official
delegations in cooperation with diplomatic missions and
chambers of commers around the world.

The Polish Chamber of Commerce is a member of
Eurochambres and the International Chamber of
Commerce in Paris. We have signed over 200 cooperation
agreements with chambers and institutions on all
continents.

Annually, the Polish Chamber of Commerce hosts over 60
events with the participation of Polish and foreign
companies, diplomats, international experts and

The Polish Chamber of Commerce organizes congresses and
conferences, as well as training courses and workshops on current
issues related to the economic policy of the state. Topics relevant
to entrepreneurs are discussed during those events.

Commerce (ICC) in Paris and of the Special

Targowa
Creativity
Centre
The Targowa Creativity Centre is an entrepreneurship
incubator for the creative sector, operated by the
Polish Chamber of Commerce.
The Polish Chamber of Commerce has been the
Operator of the Targowa Creativity Centre since
December 2019 and will continue in this capacity for
10 years, under the agreement signed with the
Capital City of Warsaw for the urban entrepreneurship
incubator in the public-private partnership (PPP)
formula.

2. The programme of the CK Targowa is related
to the development of professions in the
creative sector.
3. Incubation is supported not only by making office
space available, but also through the organization of
training, educational and cultural programmes in the
conference and exhibition area.
4. There is a constant recruitment for the rental
of office space for entrepreneurs from the
creative sector.
5. So far, over 50 companies from the creative
sector have found their place in the CK Targowa
incubator. Many of them have developed into
businesses successfully operating on the market.
