Excretion
Excretion is the removal of waste products of metabolism from their
bodies. All living cells have many metabolic reactions going on inside them.
For example, the reactions of respiration provide energy for the cell.
Urea
Urea is a waste product that is produced in the liver in humans. As urea is
toxin, too much urea in the blood is toxic. Urea is removed from the blood
by the kidneys.
The Urea is removed from the blood by the kidneys. The kidneys also
remove excess water and excess ion from the blood, and produce urine.
The urine flows down the ureters and into the bladder, where it is stored.
The urine flows out of the body through the urethra.
