Your assignment is to create a story in Latin. Remember, you are new to Latin so your story
should be simple. Especially remember how simple the sentences are you read in the book. Try
to avoid words like his, hers, their, etc. You also want to avoid sentences that have the word “to”
in front of a verb. You will learn how to write these more complex sentences, just not yet!
The requirements for the story are simple. You may do better if you write an individual sentence
out in English first, label it, then translate it into Latin.
Requirements
The story must be at least 10 sentences long
The story must be at least semi-story like. It is not to be a bunch of exercise sentences
that make absolutely no sense together.
You must use 5 Prepositions. in, ab, ad and ex are popular ones
You must use the verb sum at least 3 times.
You must use the accusative case at least 4 times.
You must provide me with a translation of your story into English
