Arjun (mid 20s, a corporate guy living alone in delhi , works in a MNC. initially was an artist.
He used to act, write and was a great narrator. Growing up his dream was to become
someone great but the his habit of overthinking stole everything from him his happiness,
comfort everything. Now he is just a guy running a rat race.
Opening Scene:​
(Cityscape at night. Soft melancholic music plays in the background. A corporate man, ​
INT. APARTMENT – NIGHT​
The room is dim and cluttered, reflecting Arjun’s chaotic inner life. He tosses his bag on the
couch and heads toward a mirror in the corner of the room. He stops and stares at his
reflection.
Arjun​
(whispering to himself)​
What are you doing with your life?
He touches the reflection, his fingers trembling. His eyes are hollow but searching, as if
looking for answers. He steps back, takes out a joint, and lights it. The orange glow of the
lighter reflects in the mirror. He exhales slowly, staring into the smoke-filled reflection.
The Transformation​
As he smokes, his reflection starts to shift subtly. The mirror fogs up and clears, revealing a
shimmering portal. A faint hum grows louder. Hypnotized, Arjun leans forward and touches
the mirror. Instantly, he’s pulled into another dimension.
SCENE 2: THE OTHER DIMENSION
(The screen floods with white light. Arjun opens his eyes to find himself standing in an
ethereal, dreamlike landscape. Everything is surreal—floating bubbles surround him, each
containing a vivid memory from his past.)
Memory 1: The Artist Dream​
Arjun sees himself as a teenager in his room, passionately sketching designs on a notepad.
The room is messy, filled with drawings, brushes, and unfinished canvases.
Teenage Arjun​
One day, I’ll have my own art studio.
Adult Arjun watches in silence, tears welling up. The bubble pops.
Memory 2: The First Love
{ Arjun is in a relationship with his girlfriend from college. They dreamt together to achieve
things and live together. But the things aren’t going as they should be . Arjun is meeting her
for the last time as he wants somen time t, so that he can work on himself. }​
Girlfriend (staring at the sky, voice quiet)
"You know… sometimes I think about the first time we sat here."
Arjun (softly)
"We talked about our dreams."
Girlfriend (nodding, a bittersweet smile)
"You said you’d never let your dreams go. That no matter what, you'd find a way."
Girlfriend (hesitant, but firm)
"Par pta nhi tumhe yeh notice horha h ya nhi that your slipping away from everything , your
dream, people….and me, hum baat kre hue din beet jate h. Kya chal rha hai"
(Arjun tenses. He looks down at his hands, fingers tightening into fists.)
Arjun (whispers)
"I haven’t let go. I just—I don’t know how to do both. The job , things and us… I feel like I’m
constantly failing at one to keep the other alive."
Everytime i try to tell , i just can’t. Aesi baat nhi h ki, mujhse tumhare saath nhi rehna h pr
abhi yeh nhi ho paa rha h.
(A pause. A gust of wind shakes the trees, leaves drifting to the ground. She watches them
fall, then.)
Girlfriend
( She took her hand off from arjun and look opposite side, her eyes full of tears. And and
silence full of unanswered questions, she nods and went off )
SCENE 3: THE TURNING POINT
Arjun and pranav lying around in their flat watching something.by mistake he played the
arjun’s play which he did during his college time and the pranav was shocked looking at this
his work. He didn’t believe that arjun created this and start talking to him why he left his
passion. And this is the sensitive topic for arjun as heb avoid to talk about it. But pranav was
on it and doesn’t want to let it go easily.
Pranav : Wait , Wait . Is that you who is performing?
Arjun: Yeah but change it we’ll see something else.
(Pranv insisted and watched the whole play}
Pranav: I don’t believe yeh tu h, itna accha . or ab dekho corporate slave .
Arjun: toh meri konsa first choice thi yeh majdoori krna . mtoh chahta krna but kismat bhii na
jab tu kcuh krna chaha, tb bt deti rhi. Kabhi khush dekh hi nhi skti merko.
Pranav: Khushi kismat pr thodi wo toh tumhari harkaton pr depend krti h na. Tu isme hi dekh
le kitna khus tha
Arjun: to tu keh rha h ki meri harkatein kharab? Sun nhi bolna chahiye jab pta na ho,
Pranav: To tum keh rhe ho ki m janta nhi hun. Chalo tumhe yaad dilata hun ki whi arjun jiski
life mein sab shi chal rha hota h toh khud hi use khrab kr deta.
Yaad h wo placement wala seen. Or wo mannu wla. Wo usko choda. Dikkat yeh h ki tumhe
na khush rehna hi nhi h, tum bas sochte ho baad ki , ki yeh hojaega , wo hojeaga toh sab
badhiya , tum aaj mein jeena hi nhi chahte , tum khud hi apni khusiyon ka gala ghot rhe ho
(addon something so that we can peak this scene).
SCENE 4: BACK TO REALITY
(arjun woke up suddenly from the dreams, all sweaty and trying to figure out what happened.
Then the next day he writes an email toh his hr and resign from his job.)
In the closing scene , the laptop shows message of email sent and a besides the table )

dimension to show contrast.

●​ We can use tie in first and in the last scene no tie which shows his freedom towards
step one.

●​ To show frustration we can add some faults in his surroundings like light not working,
no water etc.
