LESSON LEARNED
✓Strong Leader ship & Vision - The success of the Delhi Metro is often
attributed to the strong leadership of its first Managing Director of the
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).
✓Effective Project Management - The DMRC implemented robust
project management practices, including meticulous planning, regular
monitoring, and efficient resource allocation. This helped in completing
the project phases ahead of schedule and within budget.
✓International Collaboration – Japanese International Cooperation
Agency (JICA) provided technical & financial support
✓Environmental & Social considerations – It reduced vehicular emissions
& provided connectivity for all class.
