How to take the contest online?
1. Log in to both Zoom links using two separate devices. Students must use a laptop or
desktop to take the test; tablets are not permitted. For the monitoring Zoom, ensure that the
camera is positioned so the invigilator can clearly see the student and their surroundings (refer
to the image below).
After logging into Zoom, ensure you rename yourself according to the display name provided
in the contest pass. so that the invigilator can assign to the breakout room and take the
attendance accurately. You will remain in the waiting room, as the invigilator will not be able to
admit you if you do not rename to the zoom display name given in the contest pass.
Example Zoom display name : BR1 - SG - CELINE BROOKE
2. The invigilator will inform everyone to share screen once you are in the breakout room.
Click the green "Share Screen" icon to share your screen. All students are required to share
their screen during the contest.
3. Log in to the Online Contest System (OCS) using your provided login credentials in the
contest pass that have been emailed to you.

4. After logging in, you will be prompted to enter a security key. Please do not spam the chat
for the security key. Please wait at this step until everyone is ready, the invigilator will then
provide the security key in the Zoom chat. Simply copy and paste it when you receive it.
5. After entering the security key, the contest will begin. Please only click the submit button
once you have completed the contest. If you submit by mistake, please inform the invigilator
immediately.
6. Once you have completed and submitted, please notify the invigilator. You may then leave
the Zoom meeting.
Important note:



You are not allowed to share materials with anyone or reference/research for any material
on the internet.
If you have any issue during the competition, please type your questions on the chat and
we will get back to you after we consult with Exam board.
Please ensure that your video camera remains on for both the contest Zoom and the
monitoring Zoom link throughout the entire contest.
