It's been a long day, and I just need a moment to relax. Everything has been falling apart lately, and
I don't know how much
longer I can keep this up. I thought I had everything figured out, but now... I don't know.
(beat)
What am I supposed to do next?
SARAH
We'll figure it out. We always do. You're not alone in this, John. Just take it one step at a time, okay?
John sits on the couch, burying his face in his hands. Sarah moves closer, placing a reassuring
hand on his shoulder. The room is dimly lit, with only the flicker of a television casting shadows on
the wall.
