1. Application and Selection:
Eligibility: Interns must be currently enrolled in a college or university,
pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
Application Process: Submission of a resume, cover letter, and relevant
transcripts or mail from the student is a must.
Letter of required letters of recommendation from college.
Interviews: Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend an
interview or orientation to assess their suitability for the internship.
2. Duration and Work Hours:
Duration: During the internship will be a minimum of 15 days.
Work Hours: Interns are expected to work between 25 to 30 hours per
week, with specific schedules agreed upon in advance.
Flexibility: NGOs will consider flexible hours to accommodate students’
class schedules.
3. Responsibilities and Duties:
Assignment of Tasks: Interns will be assigned specific tasks and projects
relevant to their academic background and the needs of the
organization.
Performance Expectations: Interns are expected to complete tasks on
time, maintain a high standard of work, and communicate regularly with
their supervisor.
Confidentiality: Interns must respect the confidentiality of sensitive
information and adhere to data protection policies.
4. Professional Conduct:
Work Ethic: Interns should demonstrate professionalism, punctuality,
and a positive attitude.
Communication: Clear and respectful communication with supervisors
and colleagues is required.
Dress Code: Interns should adhere to the organization’s dress code,
which may vary from business casual to formal, depending on the
NGO’s environment.

5. Supervision and Support:
Mentorship: Interns will be assigned a mentor or supervisor who will

6. Training and Development:
Orientation: Interns will receive an orientation to understand the NGO’s
mission, values, and organizational structure.
Skill Development: Opportunities for professional development, such
as workshops, training sessions, or networking events, may be provided.
7. Evaluation and Feedback:
Mid-Term Review: A formal evaluation may be conducted halfway
through the internship to review performance and address any issues.
Final Evaluation: A final review will be provided at the end of the
internship, including feedback on performance and areas for
improvement.
Certificate of Completion: A certificate or letter of recommendation
may be provided upon successful completion of the internship.
8. Health and Safety:
Compliance: Interns must adhere to the health and safety guidelines of
the organization.
Emergency Procedures: Interns should be aware of and follow the
organization’s emergency procedures.
9. Compensation and Benefits:
Stipend: NGO does not provide stipend or reimbursement for expenses,
while on internships.
Benefits: Benefits such as access to organizational resources will be
provided depending on the NGO’s policy.

10. Termination of Internship:
- Voluntary Termination: Interns wishing to terminate the internship
early must provide advance notice as specified in the agreement.
- Involuntary Termination: The NGO reserves the right to terminate the
internship for reasons such as unsatisfactory performance or breach of
conduct policies, with appropriate notice.
11. Legal and Ethical Considerations:
Compliance: Interns must comply with all applicable laws and
regulations.
Ethical Standards: Interns should adhere to the ethical standards of the
NGO and act with integrity in all tasks and interactions.
12. Grievance Procedures:
Reporting Issues: Interns should report any grievances or concerns to
their supervisor or the organization.
Resolution: The NGO will address complaints in a timely and fair
manner.

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: I visited Saraswati College of Engineering and assisted in setting up a stall to collect
donations and sell handmade items such as tote bags, doormats, and dog collars. In
addition to managing the stall, I actively engaged with visitors, informing them about
the Create Together Foundation and its various initiatives. By interacting with people
and spreading awareness, I helped promote the foundation’s mission and encourage
support for its cause.
