8. Grading: Midterm exam 40%+a, Final exam 40%-a, Class activity 20%+a
8. Attendance rule:
- Online class: students should connect in time and stay on the monitor until the end of class (TA will monitor
your connections during the lecture)
- Offline class: students should enter the classroom in time and stay until the end of class
- Penalties: every absence (appear after 10 mins) deduces 3 points; every lateness (appear in 10 mins) and
leave without an approval deduces 1 point from your final score (100); students who are absent more than 3
times will be disqualified
