I. INFORMED CONSENT
This informed consent form is for the student researchers of Southern Luzon State University. We are inviting you to participate in a
research study entitled “Paternal Absence vs. Guided Paternal Dynamics on Daughter’s Romantic Perspectives”.
Information Sheet
We, Aleah Albrando and Mark Gerald Joco, student researchers of Southern Luzon State University are conducting this
undergraduate thesis, and we invite you to be part of this research study.
This research aims to determine relationship between paternal abandonment and/or paternal guidance in shaping daughter's intimacy
patterns and their romantic perspective; compare the impact of both dynamics in general.
This research study involve a structured questionnaire that will take minimum of five minutes of your time.
Voluntary Participation and Withdrawal
You are invited to participate in this study, and your participation will be entirely voluntary and according to your free will. It is your
choice whether to participate or not. The choice that you will make will have no bearing on any aspects of your personal life and
academic standing. You may cancel this consent at any time and without any reason. If you do so, your participation in the study will
end and any data collected will be discarded by the researchers.
Compensation
If you decided to take part in this study, you will not receive any additional grades or monetary value. There is also no cost for
participating in this study. You will not be compensated for your participation.
Risk
Risks of participating in this research is minimal, except the procedures can cause possible harm or risk to the participants in the
form of inconvenience in taking time to answer the survey
Confidentiality
Any personal information that you will provide including the data that will be obtained as part of your involvement in the study will be
kept private and confidential. You may also have a copy of the data you personally submitted. Data will be kept and can be accessed
only by the student researchers and research adviser.
