Observed the 2 No's of sky light glasses and 2 No's of HPL boards were damaged due to explosion of blasting
activities carried out in the east side of academic block.
First -Aid: Total 07
MTI:01- NTPC-Farakka During the lifting of the steel bundle by the crane, suddenly the lifting hook failed and steel bundle slipped and
fell down on worker feet.
Severe Injury Case: 01-ZEN1
The subcontractor of Planedge (Local) was performing excavation for the hard rock by excavator and control
blasting methods. the controlled blasting was in an unsafe manner where the concerned contractor consumed
an overdose of dynamite more than the safety regulation and standards which leaded to the major explosion.
Due to the blasting explosion the compact stone were spread all around & they traveled reached around 100
meters to a destination where our workforce was busy in P.C.C work. The result of blasting was very severe and
5 people got minor injured and 1 person was serious injured with multiple fractures.
