Learning is the result of a change made in behaviour. The action; learning , happens when we
experience something.
Learning is the acquisition of knowledge, information and skills.
Learning is not just part of our lives as children and young adults in school but it is an ongoing
process that we experience throughout our entire lives.

Visual - This is when we use physical examples during practicals or when the teacher does an
experiment and the learners view the actions of the teacher and the actions or reactions of the
experiment.
Auditory - This is when the learners attains knowledge while the teacher is speaking or giving
instruction. The can clarify any confusion by hearing what the teacher says and then replying
with an answer or question.
Kinesthetic - This is when learners do a physical activity or get to be hands on. This is an
activity where the learner is physically active using his/her body.
Verbal - This is when teachers discuss answer and or theories. Writing them down is also part.
They get to engage with other learners and their thought by using this method.
Social - This is a learning style where the learners get to discuss, hear and mediate on their
own thoughts and the ideas of others. It is a collaborative space where all the other 4 styles
are in unison.
